The Oscar nominated Foreign Film, NEVER LOOK AWAY is a must see movie for artists and art lovers alike. This German film (English subtitles) is based on life of artist Gerhard Richter, who grew up in Germany, ended up on the east side of the wall and then escaped to West Germany. The three hours long mix of war, romance and art is beautifully filmed and it passes in a flash that can be handled with a small bag of popcorn and medium drink . You will have to be on the lookout for this Independent Film. And GO! It is fabulous for both painters and photographers and those like me, wandering somewhere in between.
